A dedicated broad-gauge track for testing new trains and coaches, for Indian Railways’ research body RDSO, in the Jodhpur division, with four stations: Gudha, Jabdinagar, Nawa and Mithri. Reported at 59 km (Indian Infrastructure, August 2026) or 64 km (Rajasthan Patrika, August 2026), with a high-speed stretch and testing loops; the high-speed stretch was due in September 2026 and the Mithri curve loop in December 2026. It is a testing facility, not a new passenger line. Listed in the Rajasthan budget of July 2024 among state highways to be upgraded: Dudu–Sambhar–Bhatipura (SH-02), 40.40 km. A consultant’s feasibility study for the PWD describes a 2-lane road of about 40 km. Is land near Sambhar Lake affected by salinity?

Are there residential projects in Sambhar?
Schemes are marketed here. Whether one is an approved residential colony depends on the approving authority, the layout approval and a conversion order for the exact khasra. Check a scheme before you book. We are not a coloniser and do not sell approved plots.
