In Rajasthan, the elders have a saying: ज़मीन है असली सोना — land is the real gold. It doesn't rust, it doesn't vanish in a market crash, and it feeds the family that keeps it. But somewhere between that old wisdom and today's buyer, something broke. Buying farmland had become a maze of unread documents, whispered prices, and middlemen who knew more than they told.
AgriZameen was started to fix exactly that — by two people who kept meeting the same frustrated buyer.
Two plots · one boundary · दो नज़रिये
Two ways of reading the land. One platform.
AgriZameen is built by two founders whose expertise sits on opposite edges of the same field — one reads land as asset, record and technology; the other as living soil, produce and operation. Placed side by side, they cover the whole of land in India.
Tarun Jain
Twelve-plus years building the business of land — real estate development (NDJ Colonisers), technology (KAVTAR Technologies) and growth (Extreme Business Solutions), plus two years in London. He owns the value, records, reach and product side of AgriZameen.
Adheer Raj Aggarwal
A builder who leads from the ground — Head of Operations at Shiva Organic and a beekeeper at heart, with cross-industry experience across organic foods, metals and insurance. He owns the ground truth, rigour and sustainability backbone of AgriZameen.
The overlap
One knows how land is bought. The other, how it grows.
Tarun understands how land is valued, digitised, marketed and reached. Adheer understands how land lives, sustains and produces. Neither view alone is enough to serve India's landowners — together, they are the whole picture. That is the point of AgriZameen: a practical, made-for-Bharat platform that makes land information clear, trustworthy and jargon-free — for the farmer, the small landowner and the first-time buyer.
What the founders say
In their own words · अपनी बात
“Technology will not replace the land. It will finally let its owner see it clearly.”
Tarun Jain
On the future of land in India
I have spent over a decade in real estate, and one belief has only grown stronger: in India, ज़मीन है असली सोना — land is real gold. It outlasts markets, inflation, and trends. But for most landowners, that gold is locked behind confusion — unclear records, scattered information, and language they were never meant to understand.
The future of agricultural land, to me, is not about land becoming more valuable. It already is. The future is about land becoming legible. Transparent records, verified boundaries, honest valuation, and information a farmer in a village can open on his own phone. Technology will not replace the land; it will finally let its owner see it clearly.
That is the future I am building toward. A landowner who knows exactly what he holds — its size, its record, its worth — negotiates from strength, not fear. When land information becomes clear and trustworthy for every Indian, ownership itself becomes fairer. That is the India AgriZameen exists to serve.
— Tarun Jain, Founder, AgriZameen“Land is not an object. It is alive. It gives back exactly what we put into it.”
Adheer Raj Aggarwal
On the future of land in India
I have spent years close to the soil — running an organic-foods enterprise, keeping bees, watching seasons decide outcomes. It teaches you something a spreadsheet cannot: land is not an object. It is alive. It gives back exactly what we put into it.
So when I think about the future of agricultural land, I don't think first about price. I think about health. The land that will matter most tomorrow is land that is cared for today — soil that is respected, farming that is sustainable, and owners who see themselves as stewards, not just holders. Nature keeps long accounts, and it always settles them.
But stewardship needs clarity to survive. A farmer who is unsure of his own records, his own boundaries, his own rights cannot plan for the long term — and land without long-term thinking gets used up. That is why AgriZameen matters to me. When we make land honest and understandable, we give people the confidence to hold it well, grow with it, and pass it on stronger than they found it.
— Adheer Raj Aggarwal, Founder, AgriZameenWhy we started
We watched good people hesitate on good land — not because the land was bad, but because no one would sit with them and explain it plainly. We watched others rush in without checking a single record, and pay for it later. The gap wasn't land. The gap was trust and knowledge.
So we built AgriZameen around a simple promise: learn first, buy right. Come for a verified listing and you'll leave understanding what a Jamabandi says, how a Bigha compares to an Acre, and what the corridor around your plot is actually becoming. We'd rather you buy slowly and surely than quickly and blindly.
What we do
Two things, done properly. First, we bring verified agricultural land in Rajasthan's Jaipur–Ajmer corridor — Phulera, Sambhar, Dudu, Nawa, Bichun — with the documents checked before we ever show it to you. Second, we don't disappear after the sale: boundary walls, farm houses, plantation, land conversion, NRI care and resale — the whole life of your land, under one roof. From the first site visit to the day your orchard takes root, one team, one number.
