Where Rajasthan Is Building: Roads, Rail, Power and Industry Around the Phulera–Sambhar Beltराजस्थान कहाँ बना रहा है: फुलेरा–सांभर बेल्ट के आसपास सड़क, रेल, बिजली और उद्योग

25 projects are named around the belt. We placed each on a five-rung ladder — from announced to operating — with its source and date. What is being built, what is only announced, and what none of it can tell you about a parcel.

The rail freight corridor through Phulera is real and running; the RDSO test track and a 100 MW solar plant at Nawa are being built; some of the loudest names — a new expressway, a logistics park — are announcements or proposals. How to read the ladder सीढ़ी कैसे पढ़ें

A project can be announced for years without a site. So each one sits on the rung its documents support: 1 · announced (a budget line, a statement), 2 · MoU signed, 3 · site identified (a named location, an assessment, a land proposal), 4 · allotted (land given or in acquisition, work under way) and 5 · in possession or operating. A project moves up only when a document moves it. The bars below show the rung; the line under each name says what is actually on the record.

Roads and expresswaysसड़कें और एक्सप्रेसवे

Roads are where the belt’s story is loudest, and where its projects are most spread out on the ladder. Two pieces are open: the southern arc of the Jaipur Ring Road and the Bandikui spur that joins it to the Delhi–Mumbai Expressway. The northern arc is in land acquisition — Section 3(A) notifications were published in December 2025 — though which agency builds it is unresolved. The Kotputli–Kishangarh greenfield expressway has a final Social Impact Assessment for Jaipur district (August 2026), with an entry–exit point planned at the Deodhi–Harnathpura turn in Jobner. Jaipur–Pachpadra has central approval, reported in February 2026. The Thar Expressway (Jaipur–Phalodi) and the Dudu–Sambhar–Bhatipura state highway are in the state budget of July 2024; for the expressway, no land notification and no village-level route has been found. Rail and freightरेल और माल ढुलाई

The belt’s most solid infrastructure is rail. The Rewari–Madar section of the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor, dedicated to the nation on 7 January 2021, has New Phulera as a junction station; New Sakhun has since been opened for goods and described as a full rake terminal. DFCCIL has named New Phulera for a private freight terminal, though whether one has opened could not be confirmed. Beside Sambhar Lake, the RDSO test track for new trains is under construction, with four stations — Gudha, Jabdinagar, Nawa and Mithri. Lower on the ladder: an expression of interest for an electric locomotive shed at Phulera, and the Amrit Bharat station scheme, which lists Phulera, Naraina and Asalpur Jobner. Powerबिजली

One power project is confirmed in Nawa tehsil: SJVN Green Energy’s 100 MW solar plant, “at Nawa in District Didwana Kuchaman”. Its foundation stone was laid on 22 May 2025, with commissioning scheduled for 31 December 2025; we have found no announcement that it has been commissioned, and no source names its village. Separately, in July 2026 the Rajasthan High Court let a solar project near Sambhar Lake proceed on conditions; we have not matched that project to SJVN’s. Industry and logisticsउद्योग और लॉजिस्टिक्स

Industry around the belt is a mix of the long-established and the newly listed. Sambhar Salts, a government company, works over 90 square miles at Sambhar and Nawa. Adani’s logistics park and inland container depot at Mandawariya, Kishangarh, is operating its first phase. RIICO lists a new industrial area at Rajas, in Nawa tehsil, and news reports say it has developed plots at Bichun. Near Naraina, a CONCOR logistics park exists only as a land proposal, at the cost-estimate stage. Two of the biggest names attached to the belt are not in it: the Delhi–Mumbai Industrial Corridor has no node here, and CONCOR’s operating logistics park is at Kathuwas, toward Alwar and Rewari.

Water and townsपानी और क़स्बे

Phulera’s urban water supply is to be augmented under AMRUT 2.0: the Public Health Engineering Department invited tenders, bids closed on 15 June 2026, and an award has not been confirmed. Water outlasts roads: for farmland, the canal, the borewell and the block’s groundwater category matter as much as anything on this page.

None of the projects on this page tells you what a particular parcel is. They change what is around it. Four checks keep the two apart:

Rung before rumour

Ask which rung a project is on. An announcement is not a road, and a site is not an allotment.घोषणा सड़क नहीं होती — पहले सीढ़ी पूछें।

Notification before frontage

Land “on the route” means nothing until a notification names the village. Search the e-Gazette by its name.अधिसूचना में गाँव का नाम हो, तभी मार्ग पक्का।

Entry point, not alignment

An access-controlled expressway serves land near its entry–exit points, not land beside a sealed stretch.एक्सप्रेसवे से पहुँच केवल प्रवेश-निकास पर।

Records before stories

Jamabandi, access, water, and wetland status near the lake decide what a parcel is — whatever is built nearby.जमाबंदी, रास्ता, पानी — यही ज़मीन तय करते हैं।

How many projects are named around the Phulera–Sambhar belt?

Our register lists 25 on 14 October 2026: 9 in possession or operating, 3 allotted, 6 with a site identified and 7 announced only. Two of the operating ones are listed because they are often claimed for the belt, and are outside it.

Is the Thar Expressway being built?

It is announced: 345 km in Rajasthan’s budget of July 2024. We have found no Section 3A notification and no village-level alignment for it.

Does a project near a parcel make the parcel worth more?

We do not predict prices, and nothing in the register is a price signal. What a project changes — access, demand, restrictions — depends on the parcel: its records, its access, its water, and whether a notification covers it.
