Rajasthan Farmer Schemes — and the Land Papers Each One Needsराजस्थान किसान योजनाएँ और ज़रूरी भू-दस्तावेज़

Every scheme on the state's single-window portal, with a direct link to its official page — plus the question no scheme list answers: which land papers must be clean before you can apply at all.

What this page is, and is not

Rajasthan runs agriculture, horticulture, marketing and animal-husbandry schemes through one state portal. This page is a map of that portal from a landowner's point of view — every scheme, grouped as the portal groups it, each with a direct link to its official page, and each read against the land record you will need.

Apply on the portal, not through anybody. Applications are made online and free. No document is submitted to an agriculture office for these, and no fee is payable to any facilitator. We are not an intermediary and we cannot file, expedite or influence an application.

First: can you actually apply online for it?

The portal separates services — schemes you apply for online — from information pages, which describe a scheme or publish a list but are not an application route. This distinction decides whether your next step is a form or a visit, and almost no scheme list makes it.

The land papers behind almost every application

Whatever the scheme, the same small set of documents decides whether an application can even be made.

Jamabandi / record of rights in the applicant's name — the single most common blocker, because a recent buyer is not the recorded holder until mutation is done · current girdawari — the crop-inspection entry showing what is actually grown · khasra number and map matching the parcel on the ground · co-sharer consent where the khata is joint · succession papers where the holder has died and the record was never updated · plus identity, bank and category documents.
The pattern worth internalising. Schemes are refused far more often for a defective land record than for anything about the scheme itself. If you are buying land partly for what it can attract in support, the record is the asset — not the pond, the fence or the pump.

Five schemes worth understanding before you buy

These are the ones that change what a parcel is worth to a buyer, because each one either adds water, protects the crop, or replaces a missing grid connection.

खेतों की तारबंदी — Tarbandi — field fencing

What it supports. Fencing a holding against stray and wild animals.

Land prerequisite. Fencing is assessed against a contiguous holding, so scattered khasras may be treated differently from one consolidated block. Where a khata is jointly held, co-sharer consent is normally required because the boundary being fenced is shared.

Buyer's note. Boundary disputes surface here more than anywhere else. Fencing a line your neighbour disputes converts a paper disagreement into a physical one. Settle the boundary on the record — and ideally on the ground with the patwari — before you fence it.

खेत तलाई — Khet talai — farm pond

What it supports. Excavating an on-farm pond to store rainwater and runoff.

Land prerequisite. A pond occupies part of the holding permanently, so the area committed comes out of cultivable land. Jamabandi in the applicant's name and current girdawari are the usual starting documents.

Buyer's note. Check the parcel's slope and where runoff actually collects before choosing a location. A pond dug in the wrong corner of a field collects nothing. This is also the scheme most worth pairing with the groundwater position for your block.

डिग्गी — Diggi — lined water tank

What it supports. A lined tank storing canal or tubewell water for controlled irrigation.

Land prerequisite. Normally relevant where there is an existing water source to store from — canal turn or a working borewell. The source, not the tank, is the binding constraint.

Buyer's note. A diggi makes an irregular water supply usable; it does not create water. If the parcel has no reliable source, this is the wrong scheme to build a purchase decision on.

ड्रिप संयंत्र — Drip system

What it supports. Drip irrigation for row and orchard crops.

Land prerequisite. Requires an assured water source and the holding in the applicant's name. Installations are commonly geo-tagged and inspected, so the parcel identified must be the parcel that exists.

Buyer's note. Drip pays back fastest on high-value crops and on saline or limited water, both of which are common in the Phulera–Sambhar belt. Also available as a central component — see central schemes.

Subsidy amount, eligibility bands and current caps: read them on the official page — open the Drip system page ↗. We deliberately do not reproduce them here.

सौर ऊर्जा पम्प परियोजना — Solar energy pump project

What it supports. Solar-powered irrigation pumping.

Land prerequisite. Applied through the state nodal agency. Where a parcel has poor or no grid supply this can be the difference between farmable and not — read alongside the electricity section on the state page.

Buyer's note. Solar pumping and grid connection are alternative answers to the same question. Price both before you assume a parcel without a connection is cheap. See also solar land.

🏛️ AgriZameen is independent — not a government body, not affiliated with any agriculture or revenue department, and not an intermediary. We do not file applications, charge any fee for scheme access, or act as an agent. Every link on this page opens an official government portal where you apply directly and free of charge. If anyone offers to secure a subsidy for a fee, that is not how these schemes work.

Scheme list read July 2026. We publish no subsidy amounts, no percentages and no caps — those are revised by guideline and by budget, and a stale figure here would have someone plan a purchase around the wrong number. Read the current figure on the official page on the day you apply. Nothing here is legal, tax, financial or agronomic advice.

Reviewed July 2026. Corridor, alignment and notification status changes; no price, approval or timeline on this page is a commitment. Verify every record on the official portal and at the local Tehsil/Patwari office before any transaction. Nothing here is legal, tax or investment advice, and no return is assured.

Solar is a separate route. PM-KUSUM, its pending second phase and Rajasthan’s SKAY — with the current scheme dates and the official portals — are on our solar project land page. Every other central and state land scheme is indexed on the state-wise Sarkari Yojana hub.
