The government land rate — what it is called in every state
सरकारी ज़मीन दर — हर राज्य में इसका नाम, कौन तय करता है, और कहाँ देखें
Most states and union territories fix a minimum value for land, and stamp duty is charged
on that value or on the price you agree, whichever is higher. It goes by a different name in each state — the
DLC rate in Rajasthan, the circle rate in Uttar Pradesh and Delhi, the jantri in
Gujarat, the guidance value in Karnataka. This page tells you what it is called where your land
is, who sets it, and where the state itself publishes it.
No rate is printed on this page — deliberately. Rates are revised
from time to time and differ by village, by land class and by rural or urban area, so a figure here would
be wrong somewhere on the day it went up. Read the figure from the state, and confirm it with the
sub-registrar before you budget a registry. यहाँ कोई दर नहीं छापी गई — दर राज्य के पोर्टल
से ही देखें और सब-रजिस्ट्रार से पुष्टि करें।
