Kishangarh and Rupangarh

The airport
Kishangarh airport is run by the Airports Authority of India. AAI states that regular flights of Q-400 and ATR-72 type aircraft have operated since October 2018. Routes and airlines change with each schedule; read AAI’s current one rather than a seller’s brochure.
A logistics park at Mandawariya
In September 2025 Adani Logistics launched a 100-acre logistics park and inland container depot at Mandawariya village, Kishangarh, with 35 acres developed in the first phase. RIICO’s list of unit offices names existing industrial areas at Kishangarh, the Marble Mandi at Kishangarh, and Silora.
Roads
NH-48. The 89.785 km Jaipur–Kishangarh stretch was approved for an upgrade in February 2026 at ₹910.90 crore — flyovers, service roads and partial access control — with nine bids reported in March 2026 and no additional land acquisition planned. The expressway. The Kotputli–Kishangarh greenfield expressway ends at Kishangarh. The August 2026 social impact assessment reported for Jaipur district covers 95.4 km of its 209.5 km; we found no published village list for its Ajmer district end. Where a holding may be near the alignment, ask the land acquisition office before anything else.
The freight corridor
On the Western DFC’s Rewari–Madar section, opened in 2021, the Press Information Bureau listed New Kishangarh as a crossing station. The corridor was completed end to end on 31 March 2026.
Rupangarh and the Sambhar wetland
The draft Sambhar wetland notification of 19 December 2023 proposes a zone of influence across Nawa, Roopangarh and Sambhar tehsils. Until it is final, treat any plan near the lake as needing a check against it.
What none of this means
A project nearby does not change what a holding is recorded as. Agricultural land beside a corridor is still agricultural land; any other use needs conversion under Section 90-A of the Rajasthan Land Revenue Act, 1956, and only where the master plan allows it. A project can also take land: a holding inside a notified alignment is acquired, not sold. AgriZameen does not tell you what land is worth and promises no price and no return. The December 2023 draft wetland notification for Sambhar names Roopangarh tehsil in the proposed zone of influence. Its final form was not published when this page was written.
