Stamp Duty on Agricultural Land in Rajasthan (2026): Rates, DLC & a Worked Example

राजस्थान में कृषि भूमि पर स्टाम्प ड्यूटी 2026

Every land purchase in Rajasthan carries government charges on top of the price. For 2026 the working numbers are roughly 6% stamp duty (about 5% for women buyers) plus ~1% registration, with surcharges — all charged on the higher of your price or the DLC rate.

The DLC floor — why your “cheap” deal may not be

The DLC (District Level Committee) rate is the government’s minimum valuation. Duty is computed on the higher of DLC or the actual consideration — so a below-DLC bargain still pays duty at the DLC value. Rates were revised upward ~10% in April 2026 and a further review was reported, with highway and RIICO-adjacent areas specifically flagged. Always pull the current rate on e-Panjiyan.

A worked example

Say a parcel’s DLC-based value is ₹50,00,000 and you are a male buyer: stamp ≈ ₹3,00,000 (6%), registration ≈ ₹50,000 (1%) — about ₹3.5 lakh of charges, before surcharge/cess. A woman buyer at 5% saves ≈ ₹50,000 on the same deal. Try your own numbers on our free stamp-duty calculator — it covers all 28 states.
